Abstract —-This research aimed to increase students’ learning competency by using Tilang Medika approach especially on microscopic concept. This research is class action research. The research was conducted in three cycles, each cycle consisting of four stages including planning, implementation, observation and reflection. The population of this research was all students in grade XI IPA3 SMAN I Batipuh Academic Year 2015/2016. Data were collected by using Instruments of assessment are test and observation sheet. For the cognitive competence is used a test, meanwhile for affective and psychomotor competencies is used observation sheet through observation sheets filled by observer during learning process. Data were analyzed by calculating the average score. Based on the results of this research Based on the results of data analysis in cycle I, II and III show the increase of cognitive aspect. In cycle I the average of students’ achievement of cognitive aspect is 70,71, and psicomotoric aspect 77,78. The second cycle the average of students’ achievement of cognitive aspect is 79,92, and psicomotoric aspect 82,04. In cycle III, the average of students’ achievement of cognitive aspect is 80,67, and psicomotoric aspect 82,19. Attitude aspect in cycle I, II and III for discipline is B, curiosity in cycle I, II and III is B, responsibility in cycle I, II and III is A. In addition the attitude aspect critique thinking in cycle I is C but in Cycle II and III is B. It can be concluded that use of Tilang Medika approach on micoscopic concept can increase students’ achievement on cognitive, psicomotoric and also improove students’ attitude in class of XI IPA3 SMA Negeri I Batipuh.
